Yes, this recipe is unoriginal and slightly boring. BUT, sometimes, our taste buds need visual stimulation. If anything, I hope this post inspires you to eat some fruit today 🙂 I love this recipe because each ingredient brings something to the table: the apple for the slightly sour taste; sweet raspberries to offset the sour apple; sliced almonds for the crunch; and plain greek yogurt to tie it all together. This recipe has no added sugar or sweetener – perfect for a quick breakfast before work or a light dessert. And obviously it tastes better when you mix all the ingredients together, but that happened after I took the pretty pictures.
- 1/2 granny smith apple
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds
- 1/4 cup raspberries
- 1 individual container of plain greek yogurt
- Cube the apple pieces before mixing all the ingredients together
