Hi friends! I wanted to pop in quickly to say hello and wish you a very happy Wednesday. I’m currently listening to the song “The Light” by The Album Leaf. [You’ll want to listen to this one – it’s good!]
My yoga instructor played it this morning during shavasana and I before I knew it, tears were rolling down my face. I had never cried in yoga before and I was perplexed as to why this particular song had triggered such an emotional response. Immediately after class, I asked the instructor for the name and when I googled it, I realized it’s the song they always play during the emotional scenes in Scandal! Our subconscious is a very powerful thing, yeah? It strengthens the belief that positive thinking can transform us, adding light and hope to our lives when we’re feeling down.
Anyway, I wanted to share that moment of vulnerability before continuing on to our virtual coffee date 🙂 Without further ado…
If we were having coffee, I’d tell you…
